Exam papers and other materials for the MDCAT (Medical and Dental College Admission Test)<\/a> have been sent to several locations under strict security, according to a report on Friday.<\/p>\n

According to specifics, the exam papers were given to assistant commissioners and district police in steel trunks sealed for safekeeping.<\/p>\n

To guarantee that the materials are handled smoothly, senior faculty members from the University of Health Sciences (UHS)<\/a> as well as other staff members are going with them.<\/p>\n

September 22 is the day of the MDCAT entrance exams for Pakistan’s public and private medical and dental colleges.<\/p>\n

Finalised plans for MDCAT 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mobile phone jammers will be deployed to stop signal disruptions, and special CCTV cameras will be used to keep an eye on the testing facilities. Metal detectors and body searches will be part of a three-stage search procedure. The search for female applicants will be aided by female health professionals and female police officers.
\nIt is strictly forbidden for students to bring ATM cards, watches, calculators, pens, pencils, jewellery, or test papers. Under KMU UFM regulations, bringing certain goods to the test centre will result in legal action. Students who are found to be cheating or creating disruptions during an exam could lose their test scores for two years and possibly not be allowed to retake it.<\/p>\n

Punjab imposes Section 144<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prior to the MDCAT exam, the Punjabi government implemented Section 144 in 12 different cities in the province.<\/p>\n

The notification states that the exam centres would only be accessible to candidates and supervisory personnel, and that unconnected people’s mobility will be prohibited within 100 yards of the exam centres.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, in the cities of D.G. Khan, Sahiwal, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujarat, Rahim Yar Khan, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Multan, and Bahawalpur, rallies and demonstrations are prohibited in the vicinity of the exam centres.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
