The Public Schools Reorganisation Programme (PSRP) has announced the outsourcing of almost 14,000 government schools, according to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.<\/p>\n

“During the program’s launch, 5,800 schools are being outsourced,” remarked Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. She said in a news release, “We will monitor and supervise the process ourselves.”<\/p>\n

With 50,000 schools in Punjab, the chief minister claims it is challenging to maintain continuous supervision over each one of them. She clarified that the Punjab government’s team will now include individuals responsible for overseeing the outsourced schools.<\/p>\n

It is anticipated that the Public Schools Reorganisation Programme<\/a> will generate employment possibilities for 70,000 educated youth and save Rs. 40 billion. CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif<\/a> has declared intentions to construct kindergartens in other districts, replicating the Lahore model. She gave out licenses for the program at the event.<\/p>\n

She made a point of saying that school outsourcing was done only on the basis of merit. To teach English, visiting academics may also be hired, and Punjab government oversight will continue to supervise the curriculum. Schools will also be renovated under the scheme from five to eight classes, with an emphasis on developing pupils’ skills through themed projects.<\/p>\n

Government schools will also foster athletic potential, and transport services will be made available to girls’ educational institutions. CM Maryam emphasised that giving kids the greatest curriculum possible is a “sacred responsibility” rather than a business endeavour for the program. She commended the intelligence of government school pupils, pointing out that in spite of scant resources, they manage to attain high positions.<\/p>\n

She went on to say that the outsourced schools will get more money if they perform better than expected. She stated that she places a high value on education and that the introduction of this program is the realisation of a dream. CM Maryam emphasised her practical approach, which involves going to schools and assessing situations firsthand to make well-informed decisions.<\/p>\n

In response to criticism, she denied rumours circulating that schools were being turned over to outside contractors and reiterated that public-private partnerships and well-known school networks were involved in the outsourcing. Many schools have already experienced improvements in terms of physical quality, sanitation, and amenities like labs.<\/p>\n

In order to guarantee student safety, the CM also declared that zebra crossings will be erected close to schools, with personnel tasked with assisting kids in crossing roadways. Furthermore, cars driving without fitness certificates or engaging in overloading in the vicinity of schools are prohibited. Although the state of education in Punjab is better than in other provinces, she noted that many schools still confront difficulties, such as having 40 teachers for just 2\u00a0pupils or just two teachers for every 200 kids.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
