After learning that the Deputy Station Manager of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA)<\/a> in Birmingham is purportedly using a phoney<\/a> intermediate certificate, PIA has given him a show-cause notice.<\/p>\n

A PIA representative stated that the airline forwarded Deputy Station Manager Javed Iqbal Bajwa’s academic records to the appropriate boards for validation. It was discovered that Bajwa’s intermediate certificate was fake after the verification procedure.<\/p>\n

Bajwa has seven days to reply in writing to the notice with supporting documentation about the legitimacy of his certificate. According to the warning, failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.<\/p>\n

In a different incident, the PIA provided details on the events leading up to the detention of its country manager in Bahrain on charges of improperly managing traveler baggage. The airline clarified that it does not have an office at Bahrain Airport, which caused misunderstandings over unclaimed baggage processing. The luggage was then handled by the city’s central office.<\/p>\n

The spokeswoman underlined that there was no criminal intent at play and blamed the occurrence on the airport’s lack of a designated office. Senior executives have been assigned by the PIA to handle the case in court while it seeks legal assistance from the Pakistani embassy in Bahrain to address the situation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
