Punjab University<\/a> hosted a group of students from various Iranian universities on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The leaders of several universities, educators, and academics were in the group, which was chaired by Dr. Seyyed Abolhasan Navvab, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Iran’s University of Religions and Denominations<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dr. Navvab highlighted his attempts to improve cultural links between the two nations and fortify his connections with Pakistani universities. He emphasised that although relationships between Pakistan and Iran could have been closer in the past, the Iranian administration is still committed to maintaining good relations with Pakistan. He also underlined Pakistanis’ worldwide presence.<\/p>\n

The delegates stated that while thousands of international students are now enrolled in Iranian universities, they would want to see more Pakistani students study there. They claimed that centres had been set up in Iranian universities to promote scholarly exchanges between Pakistan and Iran.<\/p>\n

Dr. Khalid Mahmood<\/a>, vice chancellor of PU, revealed that agreements have been reached with Iranian universities to foster cooperation. He conveyed a wish to strengthen scientific collaboration with Iranian establishments.<\/p>\n

The Iranian team exhibited interest in a range of academic and research areas while touring many departments at Punjab University.<\/p>\n
