The Syndicate of Home Economics University has decided to provide significant relief to students for the upcoming academic year, which includes a major decision to reduce fees. The Syndicate of Home Economics University<\/a> has approved a budget worth 1.14 billion rupees. The university has approved a substantial reduction in fees for female students.<\/p>\n

For new admissions, the university has reduced the fees for intermediate programs by up to 31% and for MPhil programs by up to 38%. The university has also decided not to increase the fees for transport and hostel facilities. Home Economics University has allocated 315 million rupees for the endowment fund.<\/p>\n

In the syndicate meeting, financial aid and scholarship regulations, hostel rules, and examination regularization were approved, while funds were allocated for Zakat and pension funds.<\/p>\n

In accordance with the policy of the Government of Punjab, the increase in salaries for university faculty and staff has also been approved. Approval has also been given for new research journals and various subject schemes of studies in the university. Forty lakh rupees have been allocated for research in the budget. The syndicate meeting of Home Economics University<\/a> was attended by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi, Secretary of Higher Education Dr. Farrukh Naveed, Professor Dr. Naseem Ahmed, Dr. Rukhsana David, Shahid Mehmood, Muhammad Anwar Rashid, Dr. Ambreen Javed, and Registrar Shujaat Munif Qureshi.<\/p>\n

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi said that the university’s budget has been prepared keeping in view the needs and facilities of the students, which will provide an opportunity for female students to receive quality education in a government university.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
