The province of Punjab has declared the resuscitation of its laptop programme for university students<\/a>. This choice was made at a meeting on higher education sector changes that was chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.<\/a><\/p>\n

Punjab’s chief minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has directed officials to bring back the laptop programme for schoolchildren. Consequently, after a seven-year break, students from all of the province’s educational institutions will once again benefit from government-provided computers.<\/p>\n

CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif was updated on the difficulties facing higher education during the meeting. She gave the order to open new colleges and institutions in the province’s less developed areas.<\/p>\n

During the discussion, CM Punjab stressed the significance of creating institutions and colleges that reach international standards throughout the province.<\/p>\n

CM Maryam was briefed by officials on the advancement of higher education, laptop distribution, and student transportation options.<\/p>\n

It was reported to the Chief Minister that there are presently over 650,000 students registered in Punjabi universities, of which 44% are boys and 56% are girls, in both the public and private sectors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
