Significant obstacles that Karachi’s teachers and students must overcome include power outages and delays in the delivery of exam<\/a> papers.<\/p>\n

Students and teachers in Karachi are facing major obstacles, such as power outages and delays in receiving exam papers, during the ongoing matriculation exams for classes 9 and 10 in various towns of Sindh.<\/p>\n

The shortage of electricity at Block F Government Boys School in North Nazimabad has made the exam atmosphere more stressful for both teachers and pupils.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, it was impossible to police the education board’s restriction on cell phone use at testing centres, thus pupils were free to use their devices as they pleased.<\/p>\n

Reports of continuous delays in receiving exam papers exacerbate the problem. Board Chairman Sharaf Ali has refuted claims of leaking materials notwithstanding the charges.<\/p>\n

In reaction to the difficulties centres were having getting their papers late, the chairman declared extra time to make up for the lost time. Still, questions remain about the fairness and effectiveness of the review procedure, especially in relation to problems with paper distribution.<\/p>\n

A leaked Grade 9 computer science paper was reportedly making the rounds on social media the day of the test, according to earlier sources. Students and officials are becoming more anxious as a result of the ongoing investigations to ascertain the veracity of the leaked paper, which the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK)<\/a> is presently unable to verify as real.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
