The Punjab government<\/a> has declared revised summer school schedules for normal sessions in order to shield kids from the intense heat.<\/p>\n

Punjab’s schools would be open from 7:45 am to 1:15 pm on weekdays and from 11:45 am to 1:45 pm on Fridays, as per a notification from the province’s education department.<\/p>\n

Schools will operate in two shifts: from 12:45 pm to 5:15 pm and from 7:45 am to 12:15 pm.<\/p>\n

It should be mentioned that in order to protect students’ safety and convenience, the provincial authorities have been modifying school schedules in response to weather and security concerns.<\/p>\n

Due to extremely cold weather, they had already changed the winter season schedule<\/a>, which ran from February to April 15. Regular classes for boys were scheduled from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm in the provincial capital and other cities during the extreme cold wave, while classes for girls were set from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm.<\/p>\n

Boys’ schools ended at 12:15 p.m. on Fridays, while girls’ schools concluded at 12:00 p.m. Additionally, double-shift schools held regular lessons from 7:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and without a break from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the second shift.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
