In honor of the general elections, Sindh has also declared prolonged breaks for educational institutions, following Punjab.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Education Department<\/a> reportedly agreed to keep colleges, universities, and schools closed from February 6\u20139.<\/p>\n

Students are in for a treat because they will enjoy six straight holidays starting with the province’s announcement of the February 5 break. The educational facilities will reopen on Saturday, February 10.<\/p>\n

If students miss class on February 10th, they will receive eight consecutive holidays, which begin on Sunday, February 4 and end on Sunday, February 11.<\/p>\n

It is important to note that the provincial education department alone makes this decision, and official notice won’t be sent out until the caretaker provincial administration gives its consent.<\/p>\n

Punjab had previously declared a prolonged break for all of the province’s educational institutions. Punjab’s governmental and private schools, colleges, and universities will be closed from February 6 to February 9. Since February 4th is a Sunday and February 5th is a public holiday in Kashmir, the shutdown of educational institutions essentially amounts to a six-day holiday.<\/p>\n
