One of the major constraints that the Pakistani Universities are facing are the financial constraints for example insufficient budget has been allocated for education and even lesser budget has been allocated for higher education in the recent past. In addition to this, some other issues include infrastructure issues. Universities in Pakistan are only present in major and large cities of Pakistan for example, Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Faisalabad, etc. In order to address these challenges, it is of prudent importance to understand them as these hurdles have a negative impact on the ability to climb the global ranking ladder effectively. Some of the effective and most important initiatives that have been taken by the Universities of Pakistan include faculty development programs, research incentives and other universities development programs. These efforts by the authorities refer to the commitment to the academic excellence.<\/p>\n
