Matriculation and Intermediate examinations did not take place this year due to the pandemic<\/a>. Students of grades 9 to 12 are going to be promoted on the basis of their previous years\u2019 scores. They will also be awarded an additional 3% marks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, this is good news for some but not so good for numerous students who were hoping to improve their grades this year. <\/span>Nobody knew that the year 2020 would bring so many surprises in our lives. Education is one sector that has been affected in many ways. <\/span><\/p>\n

It is wonderful to see how schools have managed to completely switch to the online world of education. There is so much information, resources, and new developments that one can explore new avenues almost every day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Free Courses<\/h3>\n

Students who are feeling insecure about the future can go through the following courses. These are free courses that night help you decide about your future career pathway:<\/span><\/p>\n

Career education and guidance<\/a><\/p>\n

The science of nutrition and eating healthy<\/a><\/p>\n

English, skills for learning<\/a><\/p>\n

Digital literacy, succeeding in a digital world<\/a><\/p>\n

This will help them reduce the anxiety<\/a> associated with the uncertainty prevailing and also give them some direction about future choices. As parents, we should encourage them to get enrolled in such courses. This will boost their confidence and at the same time keep them occupied at a time when most have to let go of their outdoor activities.<\/p>\n

The Open University<\/a> is incorporated by Royal Charter (RC 000391), an exempt charity in England & Wales and a charity registered in Scotland (SC 038302).<\/p>\n
